A development for a family house within a landlocked site formed by 10 existing garden fences. The site retains existing fruit trees and aims to create the continuity of the garden spaces through the concept of 'A House in a Garden'. The main house sits within an old vegetable patch with a small growing area. There is additional area for a workshop/studio space. The design for the main house aims to achieve Passivhaus standard with low energy usage, very good thermal comfort and excellent air quality. For heating, it will utilise passive solar gain for winter heating and on site renewables in the form of photovoltaics..
