A modest ground floor rear extension and opening up of the existing dining room to this Edwardian 'half-house' provided much needed usable family kitchen/dining space and improved natural daylighting into the house. Slim line windows maximise direct views out to the garden and terrace whilst a corner window adds a wider view out across neighbouring gardens. The 1st floor bathroom was redesigned to accommodate a more spacious layout whilst providing increased storage space.

A loft conversion with en-suite shower room was added to the roof space which provided a third double bedroom. A large full height window and juliette balcony take advantage of elevated views over mature trees to the rear and which also provides good cross ventilation in combination with front facing rooflights. Internal wall insulation was added to existing walls to improve thermal performance to current standards.
